Planning Your Visit

to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

JANUARY

Average Temp 66° / 42°, 3 days of Rain

The week prior to and after New Year's day is one of the busiest all year. Come early to avoid crowds and get close parking. If you are eating at the Ocotillo Restaurant, you should make a reservation.

Watch for Occasional Rain and interesting blustery clouds. Prepare for rain, and cold weather. Even though the average temp is 66F it can be much colder with temps into the 30's for a few days.
